Beaver Dam Lake is known for its incredible fishing and wide-open spaces for boating and water skiing.

Also in Dodge County is Horicon Marsh – one of the country’s most significant wetland habitats. The entire marsh, which teems with wildlife year-round, is filled with birds and various other animals. Its thousands of acres of prairie, water, and woodlands are home to one of the most extensive arrays of wildlife in the Midwest.

Your social calendar will undoubtedly stay full, with all of the nonstop events throughout the county. Any Sunday during summer on Beaver Dam Lake, bring the family to free water shows performed by the Beaverland Must-Skis Water Skiing Team. And don’t miss the Dodge County Fair in August. Need more?
